Scholarships and Bursaries
KISSM offers a limited number of scholarships and bursaries to students wishing to attend KISSM. Additional sources of bursaries or scholarships may be found through school music support organizations, school Parent Advisory Councils, and some community service organizations. We encourage you to contact any of these organizations for possible financial assistance.
KISSM Scholarships are awarded on the basis of musical ability and leadership as demonstrated in school music programs, and as funding permits. Students must complete and hand in a scholarship application and a KISSM registration to be considered for these scholarships. Scholarship application forms may be obtained from your school music teacher or by mail or telephone request to KISSM. All scholarship applications must be endorsed by the student's music teacher.
KISSM Bursaries are awarded to deserving students on the basis of financial need, as funding permits. Bursary awards are generally in the range of $150 per student. Any student attending KISSM is eligible to apply for a bursary. Students must complete and hand in a Bursary Application Form to be considered for a bursary. Bursary application forms are available from most school music teachers, many private music teachers or by mail or telephone request to KISSM.
